What to include

  • Your device model and iOS or iPadOS version.
  • The Chesspoly app version and build number.
  • What you expected, what happened, and steps that reproduce it.
  • The six-character room code and approximate time for an online-game issue.
  • A screenshot if useful, after removing any personal information.

Please never send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

Online play troubleshooting

  1. Confirm the online lobby says Connected before creating or joining a room.
  2. Check the room code carefully; it never contains 0, O, 1, or I.
  3. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then retry the connection.
  4. Close and reopen the app. Your guest identity or signed-in account should restore your seat.
  5. If the problem continues, send the room code and approximate time to support.

Gameplay questions

Chesspoly begins with one king and three coins. A purchase, a non-king move, or a king move is one complete turn. Coins are a gameplay mechanic only and cannot be bought or redeemed. The complete rules and piece prices are available on the How to play page.

Safety report

Report abusive chat

Email [email protected] with the room code, approximate message time, visible author label, and the text being reported. Do not repeat or respond to abuse. We may preserve relevant records while a report is reviewed and may remove content or restrict access for violations.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. Email support is not an emergency service.

Privacy and deletion requests

Account owners can delete their profile from account settings after reauthentication. For other requests, use the subject “Chesspoly data request” and include your public handle or relevant room codes and approximate dates. Read the Privacy Policy for information about account and guest records, retention, and anonymisation.
